5Let There Be Light...

Buying shoes and lighting fixtures on the Internet have a lot in common; it's hard to get it right the first time around. This JDG wall sconce was a second try at finding a paintable sconce that would send light both up and down, and be slim enough to fit into a narrow space. They're mounted on a sheetrock wall (painted with Ben Moore "Canvas") and look terrific. My wife still wants to paint them, but the color of the "ceramic bisque" is a very close match to the adjoining surface. By all means, wire to a dimmer.
